New Two-speed Rear Wheel Drives Keep John Deere Combines Operating At Harvest Capacity

 June, 1997

BROOKSTON, INDIANA. Fluidrive, Inc., has introduced a new two-speed Mud Hog brand rear-wheel drive system especially designed for late-model John Deere combines! The new system was developed to improve combine tractive capability while maintaining near-normal field operating speeds in muddy, wet and slippery fields. The new two-speed Mud Hog brand rear-wheel drive system provides two operating speeds. One is a power-through speed for maximum traction and power in extremely muddy conditions. The other is a higher speed which provides the power needed for most slippery conditions and adequate speed to help ensure the combine continues to operate at harvest capacity in most crops and conditions. For more information, contact your equipment dealer or Fluidrive, Inc., P.O. Box 600, Brookston, Indiana 47923-0600, (219) 279-2801 .
