New Ultra Narrow Titan from Yetter

 February, 2005 page 17

Now, you can enjoy the benefits of the Titan™ even if you have narrow mounting space on your planter. The new Ultra Narrow Titan™ from Yetter Farm Equipment has been crafted with limited mounting space in mind.

The Ultra Narrow Titan™ is built tough to last, just like the original, with heat-treated, high yielding steel parts for moving the toughest residue. The new design also features the same unparalleled in-field adjustment abilities—convenient adjustment handles; QuikAdjust™ capabilities, which speed wheel depth control adjustment; and adjustable front and back arms, which wrap around any planter attachment, allowing the Titan to fit easily into the space under the frame.

According to Lonnie Lucas of the Yetter Product Development Department, “With the field-proven QuikAdjust™, depth adjustments are easily accessed on the side of the Titan. ™ A wide range of adjustment increments is available to match field and residue conditions. Easier to access coupled with quicker adjustments results in more acres planted per day.”

The Ultra Narrow Titan™ can be used with or without a coulter. It does not interfere with coulter adjustments, since it simply attaches to the front of the coulter. Using a coulter in combination with the Titan™ renders the ideal seedbed because soil is tilled just ahead of the double disc opener for residue removal. The Ultra Narrow Titan's™ unique narrow profile wheel positioning controls the amount of residue being moved, and high strength steel arms hold the residue manager wheels firmly to move the toughest residue without affecting adjoining rows.

This model can be set to float over the soil surface or, in tougher residue conditions, can be locked down for positive wheel traction. The wheels can be set to run with one wheel leading or with both wheels parallel or interlocked (available with standard finger wheels, 3/8” heavy-duty wheel, or the all new *SharkTooth™ wheel).
